This is in response the front-page story “New governors of EP, Madinah to accelerate development pace.” It was heartening to learn the appointment of Prince Saud bin Naif and Prince Faisal Bin Salman as new governors for the Eastern Province and Madinah respectively. I would like to convey my hearty congratulations and good wishes to them.
Both of the provinces are valuable and of strategic importance from different perspectives. The newly appointed governors have rich experience in administrative affairs and will be able to govern the provinces efficiently.
These appointments have come at a time when there is a wide ranging developmental activities taking place in both the regions and I hope that they will spearhead these activities toward successful and timely completion.
