LOS ANGELES: A cockroach crawled over a news reporter live on TV on Thursday. Robert Kovacik was delivering his piece for NBC Los Angeles when the insect was spotted running across his shoulders.
Speaking of the incident, Kovacik confirmed he felt the cockroach but managed to remain calm and finish the report. “Thanks viewers for noticing the “guest” in our live shot! Any names for my new pet?” Kovacik tweeted.
Earlier in the week, CBS affiliate KIDK’s Todd Kunz was interrupted by a spider while reading the news live on air. The arachnid dropped into the frame from the ceiling, suspended on its silk.
