STC brand value exceeds SR 12 bn

STC Group realized a 16 percent rise in brand value for 2013 totaling SR 12.4 billion compared to 2012, according to a special report.
STC steps 35 ranks higher on the world’s top 500 brands list released by Brand Finance.
STC Group Corporate Communication General Manager Nawaf Al-Shaalani said: “These figures transpire a rising value in STC brand that reflect positively on its future economic value as it realized a SR 1.7 billion rise in brand value last year and gained AA- rating with positive future outlook.”
The “Brand Finance Report 2013 ” also shows that STC rests on the best telecom brand in the Arabian Gulf, stands only 24 ranks away from its closest regional competitors, and holds the leading local brand status as STC is the sole representative of the brands operated by all sectors active in the Kingdom.
