Pin Slasher FEDBG-FMBL back-to-back champion

The patience and determination of Roger Daquioag and May Lourdes at the helm of Pin Slasher Bulls paid off as their teammates came in full force to support their fighting six that carried the team to back-to-back championships at the conclusion of the FEDBG Friday Morning Bowling League 12th Conference at the Bowling City here.
The championship was actually in the bag for Slasher with opponent Lance & 3rdy undermanned. But the Bulls took no chances and bowled determinedly to control the initial set at 1207-1141 and take a lead of 18 pins including computed handicap into the second and final game. Pin Slasher bettered its production at 1286 to seal its back-to-back championships at final tallies of 2493-2247 as Lance & 3rdy failed to recover at 1106.
Daquioag and Lourdes guided teammates to victory with respective rounds of 405 and 421 that Jay Bengco, team manager Dariel Loquias, Gerry Mandanas and Aileen Miralbuna superbly backed up with 443, 400, 418 and 406 in that order.
Team manager Evelyn Santoc paced Lance & 3rdy at 433 solidly planked by team captain Ric Reformado with 429 on scratch games of 210 and 219. Shirley Sagmit contributed 403 while Marcelo Manalo and Ver Jasa had 343 and 359.
Final standings in this L’ Occitane supported tournament: Pin Slasher champion, Lance & 3rdy 1st runner-up, Petromin Express 2nd runner-up, Micah’s Pride 3rd runner-up, Ekis-3 4th runner-up, BCT Ball Care Mongoose 5th runner-up and Fed Extreme 6th runner-up.
In consolation pool are D’ Mountaineers, Shawly Bowlers, Pin Rockers, X-Alley, Royal Strikers and Fire Fox.
Winning the highest average records are: Ric Reformado at 200, Paolo Allego 197, Rolly Vistal 184, Edris Mangoda 176 and May Lourdes 179.
Records for team high series handicap, high series scratch, high game handicap and high game scratch are: Lance & 3rdy 3885, Pin Slasher 3492, Shawly Bowlers 1337 and Pin Rockers 1221. For individuals: Ric Reformado 971, Joel Nidoy 696, Rene Punzalan 285, Jeff San Pedro 285, May Lourdes 701, Ester Santoc 576, Matet Cavite 262, Aileen Miralbuna 214.
