It was my pleasure to read an interesting and impressive article about Manik Sarkar, the fourth time chief minister of the Indian state of Tripura. It is so unfortunate that the most of the Indian and Pakistani politicians are corrupt and involved in a number of scams and scandals, but this gentleman Manik Sarkar is completely different from those politicians and has a number of good qualities.
Because of his hard work, simplicity, sincere services and honesty people of the stated have elected him the chief minister for the consecutive fourth time.
It is almost unbelievable that he washes his clothes himself, he walks to the market to buy grocery and other household stuff personally and also sometimes he negotiates with the merchants as well and insist them to charge the reasonable rates.
He is happy and satisfied with his low income as he gets just a few thousand rupees from his communist party and donates his monthly salary to the poor and needy through his party fund. His election expenses are the lowest all over India and were said to be confined to a few thousand rupees only.
He is known as the cleanest and poorest chief minister. — Zakaria Sultan, Riyadh
