Syrian crisis: Who is to blame

Arabs and Muslims need to wake up and identify the real killers and murderers of the Syrian people. It is truly ironic and disturbing to note that the UN Security Council blocked resolutions to remove Bashar Assad. The world these days has become a global village, but the behavior and conduct of certain so-called advanced nations are that of the creatures of the jungle.
It is the law of the jungle that rules and not that of civilized nations and human beings. Russia, China and Iran who are the directly responsible for the ongoing slaughter in Syria. They are the real enemies of a peaceful solution. The UN General Assembly should have intervened long ago to stop the bloodshed.
How can two nations in the same organization block a resolution, which was meant to save the lives of thousands? What did other nations do? There is something seriously wrong with UN and the so-called world community! Yet now the UNHCR is calling for contributions to help traumatized Syrian families? Let those tyrants who blocked the UN resolutions pay the reparations. I say again it is ironic that the UNHCR, an arm of the UN, can call for contributions! They have allowed the massacre to happen and might even be complicit in this slaughter.
The hallmarks of truly great and civilized nations are the efforts they exert and the concern and respect they have for human life, peace and security. They are not the manufacturers of the most deadly and lethal weapons. These are the real terrorists, causing havoc in peaceful societies, corrupting the earth and causing constant turmoil and human suffering in our global village. — Ibn Abdurahman, Jeddah
