Favorites have it easy in Al-Houd cricket

Top teams scored easy wins in the T20 Al-Houd cricket tourney organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.
The highlight of the day’s play was Gujranwala Usman Ashraf’s brilliant 162 from his team’s total of 278 for 1, which enabled Gujranwala make short work of Kokan by 121 runs. Kokan managed 157 for 6 from their stipulated overs. Aahraf was later declared Man-of-the-Match.
In the other encounters played during the day, NAB routed Al-Eid by 9 wickets, Mehran cruised past Flacon by 8 wickets, Maestro got the better of Kashmir Gymkhana by 6 wickets, Evergreen 6ers ousted Cyberoam by 200 runs, Samara got past nasair by 45 runs and Surper Green cruised past Cricketers by 51 runs.
Ealier, batting first Al-Eid put 118 runs on board. Moon 29, Fahim Shah 20 and Hashim 18 were the main run-getters. Usman, Basharath and Nazeer took 2 wickets each.
In reply NAB achieved their target for the loss of 1 wicket off 9.5 overs. Imran Khan made 60 runs while Kamran Akram scored and unbeaten 55.

In the second match, Falcon made 193 for 7. Manzoor 57, Farrukh Saeed 35 and Nadeem Shah 26 excelled with the bat. Usman Shah, Asad Khan and Sher Khan took 2 wickets each. In reply Mehran achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets off 16.1 overs. Alam Khan scored an unbeaten 88 runs followed by Usman Shah 51 and Majid Khan 29.

Later, Kashmir Gymkhana scored 208 for 4. Shafiq 54 not out, Mudassir 34 and Fayaz made 34 runs. In reply Maestro achieved the target for the loss of 4 wickets. Feroz Khan 56, Umar Bashir 55 and Jamaluddin made an unbeaten 37. Man-of-the-Match: Umar Bashir Elsewhere, Evergreen 6ers scored 251 for 7. Hafiz Rizwan 67, Khawar Zafar 62 and Haroon 25 were among the runs. Adil and Tariq took 2 wickets each. In reply Cyberoam were bundled out for 51 runs. Khawar Zafar took 4 wickets, Mudasar got 3 wickets and Hafiz 2.

In the after session, Samarwa made 224 for 5. Shakeel 83, Aasif Shaikh 52 and Qasim 27 runs. In reply nasair managed 179 for 9. Qasim took 4 wickets while Abubaker and Aamir took 2 wickets each.

Indian Super Green put on board 219 for 8. Rashid Mirza 78, Adnan Malik 39 and Adnan Nasir 31 were the main scorers. Shafiq Ahmed took 3 wickets. Salman Siraj and Asad bagged 2 each. In reply Cricketers managed 168 for 6. Sherjeel Khan 62, Farhan Malik 44 and Zaheer 28 impressed with the bat. Farrukh took 2 wickets.
