King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives has issued a documentary book on Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, titled “Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Speeches and Statements.”
The book is based on 207 addresses and speeches the crown prince delivered on several events in the Kingdom and abroad.
The 650-page book also presents the crown prince’s biography, from 1980 to 2012. The crown prince held talks on various important topics, such as cultural and scientific activities, religious and educational institutions, economy and trade.
The most important speeches about the private sector’s partnership with the government for the construction and renaissance of developing institutions are included in the book.
Crown Prince Salman has a reputation for being an intelligent and hard-working statesman and his participation in the betterment of the Kingdom is remarkable.
The efforts he made on behalf of disabled people and the opening addresses of several charities for the needy and victims of floods and earthquakes in the Arab and Islamic worlds are also covered by the book.
Among the largest projects carried out in Riyadh, under the personal supervision of crown prince, is the creation of a center of culture, knowledge and tourism.
In many international conferences, the crown prince spoke about the long-term relationship between the Kingdom and its citizen as well as about his great attention for issues regarding Arabs and Muslim societies and their financial and moral support.
In his speeches, the crown prince repeatedly calls for more development and progress for young people and professionals with national and Islamic values.
