Hilal midfielders shine in last round

The last round was breathtaking as Fateh confirmed its championship in the league beating Hajar in Ahsa.
But the match that people actually waited for was Hilal against Ittihad. It was a thrilling game that ended 4-2 to Hilal.
Most of the players did a pretty good job, special mention to the midfielders but I can’t say the same to the rest of the team who lost too many chances to score more goals. The defenders even almost cost them the match for being so careless in the field, indeed the weakest line of the team. The two goals Ittihad made were bonuses from Hilal’s defenders. Fortunately for them, Ittihad was far worse. Starting off with their midfielder Mohammad Noor, who needs to admit that he is not as fit as before as age seems to be catching up on him. Ittihad also made their newly recruited player from Hilal their very own team captain. I don’t think that was a wise move as Ahmed Alfuraidi needs to get his footing with Ittihad first. Besides, I believe that the team has many players who can easily fill the spot better. I think that Ittihad did not play their cards right.
Yesterday, the Asian Champions League has resumed. Our teams, Ahli and Shabab yesterday took on two Iranian teams Sapahan in Iran and Teraktor Sazi Tabriz in Riyadh. Tonight, Ittifaq in Dubai is scheduled to meet Shabab of UAE, and Hilal in Riyadh will meet Esteghlal Tehran. Hopefully, all our four teams win.
