Movenpick Hotel and Residences Hajar Tower Makkah has been actively contributing to the community through its Corporate Social Responsbility events recently.
It aims to gather as many people as possible to realize the importance of Mother Nature for future generations, and to practice good corporate citizenship.
As part of its commitment to society, the management team and staff of Movenpick Hotel Makkah recently participated in clean-up activities around the employees’ housing area.
By 4:00 pm, more than 30 participants had gathered to clean the streets and remove waste and unwanted debris that pose a hazard to the environment and to local citizens.
“Our aim is to encourage our employees to take responsibility for their environment through a range of affordable actions,” said Mohamed Fazal, learning and development manager at Movenpick Hotel Makkah.
“We are very keen to support and participate in activities that foster a greener, cleaner and healthier environment,” he said.
Movenpick Hotel Makkah has been actively taking part and organizing different initiatives for the community, including its blood donation campaigns, Ramadan iftar and beach cleaning day.
Through these campaigns, the hotel hopes to create awareness among residents and visitors alike on the importance of protecting and preserving the environment for the present and future generations.
Movenpick Hotel Makkah is a 5-star hotel with an ideal location on Al-Haram Court, directly facing King Abdul Aziz Gate next to the Kaaba.
The 1,200-room property is a highly popular choice for Haj and Umra pilgrims, as well as business travelers.
The hotel is looking forward to organizing other events to continue its positive contributions to the community and society in Makkah.
