Justice for all

Justice for all

This refers to G.N. Seetharam’s letter on Bombay blast case. He seems to be biased against Muslims. Justice is for all irrespective of caste, color, creed or group. It should neither favor a particular group nor discriminate against any. No doubt some people are unjust, but majority is just.
Those who have real fear of Allah, they cannot do injustice to anybody. The best example is Saudi Arabia. In this country same punishment is awarded to criminals, whether they are Saudis or non-Saudis.
In India the majority of the Hindus are very nice and therefore we Indian Muslims are living in the country without fear. If the majority becomes like Seetharam, then it will be difficult for us to survive in India.
People should not be hard-liners. Hard-liners are problems for all communities, and I am sorry to say Seetharam seems to be a Hindu hard-liner. We should spread love and affection in this world not hate. It is dangerous for humanity. At last I must congratulate Arab News for publishing such a letter so that we can understand all viewpoints. — Shoaib Akhtar, Riyadh
