These days it is difficult to get cat food in grocery stores and even big shopping malls.
Many pet stores are also running out of the expensive cat food they sell. Every year during store inventory in the first month of the year, there is always this shortage, but only for a short time. This shortage never happens any other time.
So why is it happening now? Where do we go to buy cat food?
There are many of us, Saudi citizens as well as expatriates, who have pet cats and who also feed stray cat outdoors.
Feeding the outdoor cats cuts down on problems arising from these cats eating from garbage.
There is no animal control here in the Kingdom. We do our best to feed and give vaccines to these outdoor cats to save them from many diseases, which they can spread to human beings. Many of us try to take care of the creatures of Allah. We are kind to them.
