Motabaqah authorized service provider at metrology forum

Agilent Technologies Inc. has named Motabaqah, the Saudi Specialized Laboratories Co., as the sole authorized provider of repair and calibration services for Agilent electronic test and measurement equipment in the region.
The announcement came during the recent metrology forum in Alkhobar.
It was the first forum of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
The commitment to metrology by private laboratories plays a very important role in protecting the national economy, consumers, manufacturers and importers from encountering counterfeit goods that do not conform to Saudi and international standards.
It also improves the productivity and quality of goods and services.
“We are very excited to partner with Motabaqah as our sole authorized service provider in Saudi Arabia,” said Benoit Neel, vice president and general manager of Middle East, North Africa and Europe field operations for Agilent.
“Their experience and vast sectors laboratories and possession of the latest state-of-the-art technology and equipment give them excellent capability to perform inspection, testing and calibration according to the latest international specifications.”
Ghanium Nasser Al-Bagmi, Motabaqah’s managing director, said: “Motabaqah is now Agilent’s authorized service provider in the GCC, the first to be awarded with such a status in the region and there will be no others except Motabaqah.”
Al-Bagmi said: “This new level of certification means that Motabaqah will provide exactly the same repair and calibration services as other Agilent service centers around the world, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction possible.”
Motabaqah is a Saudi company doing business in the field of laboratory certification, inspection, testing and calibration.
It also provides inspection, testing and calibration services for all goods and products manufactured locally as well as imported goods, issuing conformance certificates, and laboratories operation and management.
