Title favorites Moroccan Yassir Bouhyaya and Egyptian Mohammed Nageh stayed on collision course after beating separate opponents in the quarterfinals of the centerpiece singles A category in the 34th BSF Desert Classic tennis tournament at the InterContinental Riyadh Hotel courts here.
Bouhyaya was at his ruthless best giving up only one game in eliminating Tamer Atabi 6-0, 6-1 while Nageh stopped the progress of Filipino Marvin Espina with a 7-5, 6-2 win in their match.
In the doubles A category, the pair of Zamjaoui-Bouhyaya had a walkover win against the tandem of Hassan-Sideras, while A. Mariano-W. Biay beat S. Cerda-R. Ravel in a tightly contested three sets match 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Under 12: Karim Price beat H. Hazibuan 8-7, Rayan John Veran beat Rayan Nasser 9-4, Jaime Cerda beat Bandar Moaf 8-1, and Anis Ghouli beat H. Abdulfatah 8-5.
