Salah Al-Daour, general secretary of PR Arabia Auto Award, said: “PR Arabia is proud to launch PR Arabia Auto award in the Saudi market. This is the first award of its kind in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, the main goal for launching this award being to express our gratitude as well as our recognition of the efforts of all workers in the automotive world for serving various segments of the community.”
He noted that the first beneficiary of the outstanding achievements in the automotive world are the consumers, and thus the award will benefit them as it spurs all workers in the automotive world to compete for offering best services to get the consumers’ satisfaction and meet their demands.
He explained that the award is non-profitable and free from any interest, either direct or indirect, that may accrue to the award’s organizers. The award’s jury worked hard to apply an ultimate neutralism principle, as well as maximum transparency, justice and accuracy, thereby enhancing its credibility and the trust of the automotive community.
Speaking at the award distribution ceremony, Daour thanked both car dealers and media for supporting and encouraging the award.
He added: “We were well aware of some of the difficulties that the award may face in its first session, including persuading some of the automotive dealers to share and provide us the needed information to make the necessary comparisons. We are determined to continue to organize this award trusting that we will succeed and eventually reach our goal.”
Commenting on the event, Ali H. Alireza, head of the Cars Committee at JeddahChamber of Commerce and Industry, said the award, in its first session, attracted the attention as well as the trust of not only the winners but the Saudi automotive sector as a whole.
He hoped that the new award will spur the Saudi automotive sector for the ultimate benefit of the consumers, and will enhance services provided to them, which is a goal that “we all strive to achieve.”
