Forum in UAE to instill national spirit among Saudi students

The fourth creativity forum for Saudi students studying in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will kick off today under the auspices of Ibrahim Al Saad Al Ibrahim at Zaid University in Dubai.
Saleh Hamad Al-Suhaibani, Saudi cultural attaché in the UAE, said the creativity forum for Saudi students studying in UAE universities will be organized focusing on a number of objectives aimed at raising the spirit and national responsibility of Saudi students toward their country and nation.
“It is very important that Islamic values, values of loyalty and national identity are developed and to encourage students toward innovation and creativity in their fields among the students of Saudi origin studying outside including in the UAE,” he said.
Al-Suhaibani said that it is also important for the forthcoming generation to discover scientific talent and creative work to develop skills and promote a culture of creativity in them, in addition to instilling the principles and values of fair competition among them. He said that the success of the past three forums has encouraged them to go on for the 4th year in a row under the slogan “My Original Identity,” which was approved by the Minister of Higher Education in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Al-Anqari.
They are expecting more than 1700 students and scholars at the forum, according to the Saudi diplomat in the UAE.
