The death toll from the recent floods has reached 25 with the retrieval of a drowned man’s body from the surging waters of the Aqiq Dam.
The body is identified as one of the three missing men carried away by the flash floods in the Aqiq governorate.
Baha’s Civil Defense spokesman Lt. Col. Jamaan Al-Ghamdi said the missing worker's body was found on the floor of the dam.
Relatives identified the body, which has been sent to hospital mortuary.
The divers are still looking for the bodies of the other two missing men who were in the pick-up van, which was found overturned on a road close to the dam.
