Jazan Gov. Prince Mohammad bin Nasser recently launched the 9th Festival of Mango and Tropical Fruits, at Cady Commercial Mall in Jazan on Tuesday, in the presence of Fahd Balghonaim, Minister of Agriculture and other dignitaries.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Prince Mohammad toured the various stands showcased at the festival, appreciating the traditional and handicraft items made by the beneficiaries of the productive families’ project in Jazan.
He also visited a number of stalls displaying the various types of mangoes, which are a testament of the region’s agricultural wealth.
The festival attracted a large number of private companies specialized in fruit cultivation as well as mango-growers in the region.
