A variety of women’s events and activities will be held this Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the headquarters of Baha Technical Training Council, on the sidelines of the ongoing First Heritage Festival there.
Director of public relations at the institute, Asma Al-Ghamdi, said the activities would encompass four workshops. Maliha Al-Ghamdi from Department of Education in Baha would present one on human relationships. A second workshop, entitled ‘Utilizing expendable raw materials,’ would be lead by Afaf Al-Shari from Baha Higher Technical Institute for girls. Abeer Al-Zahrani will deliver a workshop on canvas print, while the principal of Khadija School for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an in Baha delivers a workshop entitled ‘Quality in Islam.’
A number of craftswomen will perform their handmade heritage crafts and showcase their skills and expertise in making diverse heritage handicrafts to the festival’s visitors.
Baha Gov. Prince Mishari bin Saud inaugurated the festival last Saturday. The festival will run until next Thursday.
