She added her design which comprises of Saudi currency is a traditional dress represented the heritage identity of the Kingdom in a trendy modern way; rather than the traditional costume of green or traditional headdress (shemagh).
Ghamrawi said the idea of the dress came within her gradate project to design cocktail dresses from unwornable materials, pointing out that she designed two contrasting designs: A low value dress made of black garbage-bags while the second embodied with crystals beads and Saudi banknotes of SR 500.
She said that the approximate value of the dress reached up to SR 1 million, through the money that is studded over the fabric, in addition to the crystal beads sewed on the chest, and the interlining and lining fabrics of the dress. Studding the money on the fabric took almost three weeks.
