Kamran stars for NAB as BSF T20 Cup takes off

The inaugural Banque Saudi Fransi T20 cricket league-cum-knockout tournament for the BSF Cup took off in Riyadh last week.
Over 26 teams from all three RCL divisions (Super, Premier-I and Premier-II) are taking part in this event organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.
On the opening day, NAB’s Kamran Khan scored a well-compiled 102 to help his team score a comfortable 6-wicket win over Evergreen Sixers, who batted first and put up 175 off 20 overs. Mushtaq (58), Aqueel (32) and Taj Khan (21) were the main run-getters. Imran Khan took 3 wickets.
In reply, NAB achieved their target in 14.4 overs. Thanks to Imran. Basharat supported him with 22 runs.

In another first round match, Gujranwala CC defeated Indian Strikers by 3 wickets. Indian Strikers made first use of the track and set a target of 183 runs. Rijas (39), Junais (27), Ashraf (23), Anees Ashok (22) and Renjith (21) did their best. Umar got 2 wickets.
In reply Gujranwala achieved victory off the last ball. Asif and Dastageer were in good form as they made 53 and 46 runs respectively. Anees took 2 wickets.
Man-of-the-Match: Asif.
Mehran CC won their match against Cricket Samarwa by 4 wickets. Samarwa won the toss decided to bat. However, they failed to take advantage and managed 125 runs. Aamir (26) and Abubaker (25) put up some resistance.
Mehran got to their target off 14.4 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Anwar Zeb (61) and Fakhar (21) did bulk of the scoring. Hameed and Aamir took 2 wickets each.
Man-of-the-Match: Anwar Zeb.
Star Eleven made 196 runs off 20 overs. Amjad and Wasim made 44 and 41 runs respectively. Yasir (25) and Imtiyaz (22) later propped up the innings. Imran bagged 3 wickets while Hassnain and Zikriya shared 4 wickets. In reply Game Pro were bowled out for 160 runs. Hassanain (32) and Malik (30) tried to make a fight of it. Imtiyaz, Yasir, Hafiz and Afaq took 2 wickets each. Star Eleven won by Game 36 runs.
Man-of-the-Match: Amjad.
Kashmir Gymkhana decided to bat first and made 137 runs. Shabbir Kont (48) and Naser (45) were the main scorers. Wasif took 2 wickets.
In reply Deccan Starts achieved the total off 15.5 overs. Bashar was in good form he made splendid 63 runs. Later, Naveed scored a valuable 19 runs to help his team to victory. Shabbir Kant and Raja took 2 wickets each. Deccan Stars won by 5 wickets.

Super Green defeated Pakhtoon Khawa by 4 runs. Super Green scored 160 runs. Rashid Mirza made 55 while Noman got 37. Sajid impressed and took 3 wickets. Arshad and Noman took 2 wickets each.
In reply Pakhtoon fell short by 4 runs. Khalid top-scored with 69 runs while Arshad got 23. Adnan Malik took 2 wickets.
