Haramain High Speed Railway champion in 1st Indomie-SBA Invitational Basketball Tournament

The awarding ceremony takes place at 8 p.m. today in a fitting conclusion to the 1st Indomie-SBA Invitational Basketball Tournament dubbed Bouncing 2013 at Safari New Camp (SNC) court near Mersal Village, Madinah Road on the outskirts Jeddah.
This tournament ended the court hostilities recently with Haramain High Speed Railway completing a 9-game title sweep. The champion team finished the eliminations unbeaten in six games, won the knockout semifinal and swept GACA-ANS in the best-of-three championship series.
GACA-ANS settled for second place while Safari Company Ltd. took the third position.
The individual awardees are: Rex Ablaza (Haramain High Speed Railway) Best Guard, Ariel Lagnayo (GACA-ANS) Best Guard, Edward Balinan (Jokers) Best Center, Jermaine Montano (Haramain High Speed Railway) Best Forward, Roland Galenzoga (Safari Co. Ltd.) Best Forward, Richard Calungcagin (Haramain High Speed Railway) Best Coach and Jhun Bestudio (Haramain High Speed Railway) Most Valuable Player.
The three months long league was organized by Safari Basketball Association (SBA-KAIA) – King Abdulaziz International Airport under the leadership of its founder-chairman-commissioner Master Nestor Cuizon Suliva, with the able support of Adviser Rey ‘Amarz’ Amarille.
PAFL (Pinehill Arabia Food Ltd.), sole distributor of Indomie noodles worldwide, is the tournament major sponsor courtesy of Samir Saleh, marketing manager; with marketing coordinators Faisal Akbar and Bilal Rohailla. Bin Zomah Co., distributor of Safa Water throughout the Kingdom, also sponsored the tournament courtesy of its General Manager Khalid Bin Zomah.
