Top teams have it easy in BSF T20 Cup

Individual performances was the highlight in the second round of the Twenty20 tournament for the BSF Cup sponsored by Banque Saudi Fransi and organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.
Moiezuddin, Babar, Zeeshan, Shakeel and Madani impressed with the bat, Nashir Curtay, Rizwan and Nazir did well with the ball.
Game Pro, Riyadh Blues, Mehran, Cybroam, Bhatkal Warriors, Royal Fighters, Pakhtoon and NAB were the teams, which entered the third round.
In the firs match, Al Eid elected to bat first and set a target of 212 runs. Babar and Mohammed Hussain impressed and scored 52 and 42 runs respectively. Kashif (27) and Raja Ejaz (24) later propped up the innings. In reply Game Pro achieved the total in 17.2 overs. Moiezuddin was in top form and played a magnificent innings of 98 runs. He was supported by Imran Gavanji’s 49. Game Pro won by 6 wickets.
Man-of-the-Match: Moiezuddin.
Riyadh Blues routed Black Caps by 66 runs Riyadh Blues batted first and made 214 runs. Shakeel (74) and Zafar (71) were in top form and put up 160 runs for the first wicket. Rizwan (37) and Sufiyan (18) were the other contributors. Malik took 2 wickets. In reply Black Caps were all out for 148. Rizwan did most of the damage and took 4 for 22. Shakeel got for 3 for 14.

Elsewhere, Mehran CC made 189 runs in their allotted overs. Usman Shah (44), Alam Khan (40), Sher Khan (30) and Anwar Zeb (20) were the main run-getters. Naveed, Abbas and Butt took 2 wickets each. In reply Star Eleven failed to achieve the target of 189 runs and were all out for 150. Yasir (25) and Waheed (21) did their best.
Habib of Mehran took 3 wickets while Alam, Usman took 2 wickets each. Mehran won by 39 runs.
Man-of-the-Match: Usman Shah
In another match, Cybroam scored 232 runs off 20 overs. Zeeshan Khan scored an impressive 97 runs. He was supported by Kamran Mirza’s 61 and later Adil Khan who made 31 runs. Ibrahim bowled well for 3 wickets. Ibrar got 2 wickets.
In reply Riyadh Sports Club’s batting collapsed and and were bowled out for 102 runs. Nadeem and Feroz scored 52 and 36 runs respectively.
Man-of-the-Match: Zeeshan Khan
Bhatkal Warriors defeated Maestro by 4 runs in a thrilling match. After they won the toss, Bhatkal elected to bat and put on board 163 runs. Madani (93) was the only batsman who did bulk of the scoring. All the other batsmen failed to reach double figures. Nashir Curtay of Maestro bowled superbly and took 5 wickets for 18 runs. Sunil got 2 wickets.
In reply Maestro gave a spirited reply but fell short by 4 runs. Ashfaque Qureshi (46) and Umar Bashir (45) were among the runs. Safwan took 2 wickets.
Man-of-the-Match: Madani In another match, Ahmed XI made 184 runs against Royal Fighters. Yasir played well and scored 62 runs. Maqsood was the other batsman who dazzled for his 37 runs.
In reply Royal Fighters achieved the target in 17.1 overs. Ali (55), Qaiser (39), Mubashir (27) and Izhar (22) were the main run-getters. Razzaq took 3 wickets. Royal Fighters won the match.
Man-of-the-Match: Ali of Royal Fighters. Pakhtoon Khawa beat Evergreen Sixers by 67 runs. Pakhtoon Khawa set a target of 214 runs. Naveed (74), Khalid (42) and Haroon (34) were among the runs. Adil took 3 wickets whereas Jamshed got 2.

Evergreen Sixers were all out for 146 runs. Rizwan was the only batsman who played well and made 40 runs. Haroon and Khalid of Pakhtoon took 2 wickets each.
Man-of-the-Match: Naveed NAB routed Falcon by 97 runs. NAB elected to bat first and made 221 runs. Kamran (85), Azhar (46), Usman and Basharat made 34 runs each. Awais took 2 wickets. In reply Falcons were all out for 124 runs. Nadeem (24) was the only player who put up some resistance.
