Deportees sent back from airport

Two expatriates who have overstayed their Umrah visas were returned from the airport on Wednesday despite having fulfilled procedures, including finger-printing, for repatriation.
Mohammed Rafi and Mohammed Salem told Arab News that they had had their fingerprints taken at the Rehab district last week and that officials told them to go to the airport after four days.
Accordingly, they purchased tickets and went to King Abdul Aziz International Airport on Wednesday to board the flight to Lucknow, but immigration officials at the airport told them that they were still in violation according to their information and were not allowed to travel.
They have since visited the center at Rehab once again to verify the status of their repatriation requests.
