2014 Mazda 6: Aggressive, bigger and stronger

New Mazda's environmental technology development is directed by its Building Block Strategy, which first calls for thorough improvements in the base automotive technologies. The next step builds on these improvements with the sequential introduction of electric devices designed to improve fuel economy.
The car will be offered with two petrol engines with Skyactive technology. The first with engine is of 2.0-liter that produces 152 horsepower and torque of up to 200 nm. The second engine is of 2.5-liter and produces 185 horsepower, and maximum torque of 250 nm.
Both engines are equipped with start/stop technology, while the second engine features i-ELOOP, with the world's first capacitor-based brake energy regeneration system to provide power to all the electrical mechanisms in a vehicle.
Under the elegant chassis lays a steel base, which reduces weight and improves stiffness and torsion by about 30 percent. The car also has rear MacPherson suspension system, in addition to an advanced brake power distribution system to distribute the braking power on the four wheels, plus a very smart dynamic stability control system to support the brakes.
The car is equipped with 6-speed automatic transmission system. The gearbox transfers the power to a speed transfer system for a more effective ride. "The all-new Mazda 6 headlamps exploit the new design language of the Japanese manufacturer, with internal improvements that include a modern entertainment system and new navigation system.
The chassis of the all-new Mazda 6 has adopted new elegant flawless lines that support the boldly and sporty performance of the car, where the powerful headlamps and broad grille with logo Mazda in the middle, and the fog lamps that support vision while driving at night, plus lower ventilation system that allows air flow to the engine.
The sporty appearance covers its back side with wide taillights, two exhaust pipes on both sides plus a lower bumper. The car can be equipped with 17" and 19" aluminum alloy wheels.
The cabin is very spacious, and the driver's seat is electrically controlled with one mode memory. Internally, all seats and the multifunction steering wheel are stylish and covered with leather. This is plus supplementary devices, including integrated sound system with CD player with 6 CDs, Bluetooth system and an advanced navigation system, plus electric windows, curse and automatic doors close feature. This is in addition to various safety features, including safety seat belts, air bags and curtains plus sensor systems to warn of obstacles while driving.
