An initiative has been launched to help Saudi women navigate government regulations and procedures as more females enter the workforce and lead more independent lives.
The Council of Saudi Chambers and Hawwa Women Services launched the second and third phase of their collaborated national initiative Ejrai (My Procedure) that aims to spread awareness in women about how to deal with government requirements.
Khulood Al-Tamimi, acting director of the council’s Women General Administration, said the parties involved in the initiative had held meetings to discuss arrangements and preparations the second and third phases were launched.
These parties include Passports Department, General Organization for Social Insurance, Public Pension Agency, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Commerce, Human Resources Development Fund, General Secretariat of Municipal Councils Affairs, Saudi Credit and Savings Bank and Centennial Fund.
Al-Tamimi said the initiative is focusing on educating women about procedural information and regulations, and assisting them to know their rights and duties within the country’s laws.
She said she the initiative would achieve its goals and have women completing their paperwork in shorter periods of time. The intiative is sponsored by Princess Hessa bint Salman.
