Phillip Barr, managing director of the human resources department at Abdul Latif Jameel Group (ALJ) and Georgios Dilmperakis, managing director of body and paint works at ALJ, unveiled the annual magazine at a special function.
Barr commended the magazine’s editorial board for their good work. He lauded the president and executive committee for their extraordinary efforts to strengthen the club that helps members cultivate self-confidence and personal growth.
He also spoke about the importance of the Neuro Linguistic Program (NLP) that improves communication and leadership skills.
In his speech, Dilmperakis emphasized the importance of communication in professional and personal life. He said the club helps members to hone their communication and leadership skills.
Club president Mohammed Sameer, who presided over the function, thanked Faisal Abdullah, vice president of ALJ and chief patron of the club, for his unflinching support and guidance.
“He is our motivating force to achieve higher rungs on the ladder of Toastmasters International,” he added.
