Zultrack and Al Saudi XI qualified for the semifinals in the afternoon league while eight matches took place in the morning league in the Hyundai MYNM sponsored summer tournaments organized by Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA).
In the other matches, My Care Hala beat AOT Al Farooq by 5 wickets while Crown Steel routed APF by 7 wickets.
AOT Al Farooq put up 210 for 4 against My Care Hala. Amir blasted an unbeaten 107. Naeem Shah (37) and Faiq Habeeb (33) were the other run-getters. Javed Iqbal took 2 for 37.
My Care Hala reached their target and scored 213 for 5 wickets. Washeed Nisar smashed an unbeaten 102 off 49 balls. Qamar Abbas (50) and Abdullah Essa (25) were the other contributors. Imran Yusuf took 2 for 40.
APF opted to bat first and put on board 151 for 5. Usman Ali Niaz (35), Irfan (63 not out) and Khurram (22 not out). Imran bagged 2 for 20.
Crown Steel ahieved their target and scored 152 for 3.
Qaiser Iqbal hammered 61 off 36 balls while Abu Huraira blasted 53 off 33 in a 98-run partnership. Tasleem made 24. Abdul Qayyum grabbed 2 for 38.
Afternoon quarterfinals: Zultrack scored 219 for 4. Thanks to Usman Gulab (64), Umer (40), Bilal Khan (69 not out).
My Care Hala Green chasing were restricted to 161 for 9. Qazzafi scored 46 while Noor remained unbeaten on 29. Suhail took 3 for 10.
Contraco opted to bat and totaled 109 runs through Khurram making 66 while his partner Nisar stroked 49.
Later Contraco were reduced to 162 all out from 146 for 2. Nazeer Farooqui had 2 for 18, Adil took 2 for 3. Al Saudi XI chased 165 for 5 off 99 balls with Zeeshan Soherwardy stroked 41 and Mazhar Abbasi got 56.
Later Nazeer Farooqui made quick fire 25 not out to seal the victory. Salaam took 2 for 32 and Usman 2 for 35.
Morning tourney: Al Mazroi XI were bowled out for 104. Farook (29) and Abdullah (26) did their best. Nadeem grabbed 4 for 14 as Lateef and Tayyab had 2 wickets each.
New Young Stars achieved victory with 105 for 3. Jameel stroked 39. Badar took 2 wkts.
Nesma Holding posted 179 for 4 through Akram (75) and Sheraz (42). Munawwer took 3 for 18. Hala Academy White were home and scored 180 for 6 in 103 balls for victory. Skipper Furqan hammered 86 runs in while Jahanzeb contributed 57. Sarfaraz took 2 for 36.
QRCC put up 148 for 9. Abdulrauf (50) and Sadiq (38). Ziad took 2 for 33. Rapidtech was bowled out for 102. Yasir bagged 3 for 11 and Abdulrauf 2 for 1.
AAA piled up 145 for 7. Ahmed Naveed (38) and skipper Naveed (34). Omer took 2 for 26, Ammar 2 for 30. Haneefa Tigers was bundled out for 81. Yaseen took 2 for 23 and Ahmed Naveed 2 for 19.
ATS achieved 146 for 7 through Lateef (27). Madhu scalped 2 for 43 and Adil 2 for 21. ALJ Toyota responded with 147 for 4 off 92 balls for victory. Basheer (59) and Zahid (27) did their best. Basheer got 2 for 26.
Mohsin and Badar of M Q Group put up 117 for the first wicket as Mohsin blasted 62 while Badar plundered 85 to reach 182 for 3. Ahmed took 2 for 30. Johnson Control in response managed 130 runs.
Orbital Horizon posted 166 for 6 through Shahid Shoukat (69) and Shahid Choudhry (43). Farhat took 2 for 42 and Akram 2 for 47.
