Forty percent of charity organizations across the Kingdom do not use quality systems, resulting in wasting manpower and financial resources, a training course organized by Hedaya, the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance in Alkhobar, revealed.
“These courses have a positive impact on charity work, as they enable workers in the field to be familiar with quality systems, ISO 9001 in particular,” said Abdullah Al-Duhaim, director of quality department at Hedaya.
He said that the use of quality systems is a necessity in any field these days. “Such a system helps with accomplishing a task in a timely manner and equally distributing human power and financial resources,” said Al-Duhaim.
Salman Al-Dawood, quality trainer at the training center of the General Authority of Water Distillation, said that quality rates recently increased at most these organizations, as 60 percent of them succeeded in applying and committing to quality control measures. “The other 40 percent will suffer poor exploitation of its resources,” he concluded.
