Fatally stabbed over mobile phone

A Saudi man died here after being stabbed 20 times by a Yemeni man following after a deal over a used mobile phone went wrong.
The Saudi man and his son had quarreled with the Yemeni man. The son was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, local media reported. The expatriate was also stabbed and admitted to a hospital.
The police were informed by a private hospital that a man and his son had been admitted with stab wounds. A special unit investigated the incident led by Maj. Gen. Abdullah Al-Qahtani, director of the Jeddah police department.
It was then discovered that an expatriate was being treated at a private hospital for minor stab wounds. The investigation unit linked the two incidents. The Yemeni expatriate later confessed to the crime.
Nawaf Al-Bouq, spokesman of the Jeddah police, said the Saudi man and son were stabbed after an argument over a mobile phone. He said the son was receiving medical care. The case was referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution.
