Admissions for male and female students to technical and vocational training institutes all around the Kingdom open from today (Saturday).
The Technical and Vocational Training Council (TVTC) Makkah, said that admissions to the TVTC colleges in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, Taif , Qunfida and Laith for the year 1434/1435 AH, are open, and training will begin from Shawal 24.
Ahmed bin Abdul Wahab bin Jallallah, president of the council advised students seeking admission to give full and complete information in the application form, adding that they will be informed by SMS.
He said that the applicant must be a Saudi national, non-Saudis may be accepted in accordance with the rules of the organization.
Their certificates should be equal to secondary school certificate of Saudi educational ministry or equivalent to GCSE and should be attested by the education ministry.
The students have to present a certificate of good behavior and medical certificate. The secondary high school certificates should not be older than five-years. Those who will be accepted by public or private sectors and given scholarship have to sign an agreement of employment with TVTC and the association of Prince Fahd bin Salman Charity for the care of people with kidney failure, which officially coordinates with the General Administration Services.
Those with special needs or disabilities will be accepted as per instructions of the training unit committee.
Students will get SR1,000 per month as stipend, those with disability or people with special need will get SR 1,500 and serious cases of disability will get SR 3,670 after presenting a doctor’s certificate or medical report from rehabilitation centers under the ministry of social affairs, which determines the type of disability.
