Meeting
The JCA recently held its 4th General Body Meeting, which was attended by members of its executive committee and member clubs. President Mohammed Iqbal stated that 2012-13 was a very successful and trouble free year – credit for which goes to all member clubs. He further stated that he along with all executive committee members will work together to ensure JCA continues to progress on its successful path and reach greater heights. In terms of sponsorship the year 2011-12 was less successful than 2010-11 but still JCA posted a reasonable surplus of income over expenditure as can be seen from the audited financial statement. He thanked all sponsors for their continued support. He also stressed that all matches should be limited to 20 overs.
Vice President Aijaz Khan thanked all member clubs for attending the meeting. He suggested that JCA needs voluntary members to come forward and share in the responsibilities of the committee and they would be co-opted in the committee. He thanked all sponsors — Ace Travel, Jotun, Kanoo for their continued support and requested member clubs to come forward with more prospective sponsors in future.
Chairman Dr. Faiz Al Abideen and Vice Chairman could not attend this AGM due to their prior business commitments abroad.
