Underdog Mixed Shots made the roll of Team of the Week winners at the end of the first round eliminations with near perfect 29 points in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 1 at the Ice Land Bowling Center.
Mixed Shots shut out Flexibowl 20-0 on total pinfalls of 2,743-2,532 rank points of 9-3 and total win points of 29-3.
Pairs and Spares were the second highest points getter on 25, completing a day of the underdogs with another shutout win of the day against Nomac on total pinfalls of 2,661-2,346 and rank points of 5-1.
Another highlight of the 9th session was the first round clash between leaders Fed X Ally and D’ Mountainers which the No. 1 team Fed X won by 14-6 on total pinfalls of 2,484-2,420 rank points of 10-8 and total win points of 25-14.
D’ Luft’s Strikers trounced D’ Cyclone 14-6 and Lance & Thirdy brought down Jandel’s Pride 16-4 in the other matches in the tournament organized by Overseas Filipino Bowlers Club Western Region.
Dylan Ilagan of Fed X and D’ Luf’s May Lourdes carded the best individual scores of 617 an 618 to become the men’s and ladies Bowler of the Week.
Toto Lim just missed the 600-series on 599 at the helm of Mixed Shots with Vic Gonzales on 586, Carms Lim 564 and Jojo Esperanzate 502. Rudy Valenzuela Jr. and Vangie Lim shared the remaining three games on 135-114 and 134.
Pairs got a lift from the trio of Conrad Baltazar, Akang Victorino and Rey Beltran who rolled 588, 540 and 536. Tito Cruz had the other complete series of 454, while Joey Calapatia added 134-174 and team captain Jun Estefano 179.
In addition to Ilagan the others that carried the brunt for Fed X were Fedelyn Bustinera with 590 and Ally Bin with 562. Sharing two games apiece were skipper Khalid Bustinera 158-150, Robert De Guzman 181-151 and Jimmy Aragones 214-164.
Joel Nidoy and Lourdes Punzalan posted the leading scores at D’ Mountaineers on 592 and 584.
Edu Toledo, Caloy Nuguit and Aileen Miralbuna shot 544, 523 and 501 in support of Lourdes, while Roger Daquioag had 166, Ruel Santoc 162 and D’ Luf’s team captain Jay Bengco 147.
Over at Lance Steve Historillo and Evelyn Santoc came through with 577 and 536 to go with the 489 by Ric Reformado, 464 by Elo Manalo, 133-144 by Shirley Sagmit and 125 by Med Ramos.
