King lauds IDB aid campaign

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) distributed assistance worth $ 9.8 billion (SR 36.9 billion) to finance 386 projects, which included 39 projects for Muslim communities in non-member countries of the bank, according to the annual report for 2012, which was submitted to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
IDB President Ahmad Mohammed Ali thanked the king for his constant support and care for the bank, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The report said the total assistance offered by the bank since its establishment reached $ 87.2 billion (SR 327.1 billion). King Abdullah thanked Ali and the staff members of the bank for their efforts to boost the growth in member countries of the bank.
