Mobily has signed an agreement with Prince Sultan University (PSU) to sponsor students enrolled to Prince Salman Education for Employment Training Program.
The agreement was signed at PSU campus in Riyadh in the presence of Mobily’s CEO Khalid Al-Kaf, and Ahmed Saleh Yamani, rector of PSU.
This is stated to be part of Mobily’s efforts to reach its social responsibilities and support young Saudis to gain professional experience,
According to the agreement, Mobily will enrich the program by adding SAP training course, which enables the trainees to obtain 11 professional certificates that have high demand in the Saudi job market and which help students to become business pioneers in the future.
The SAP software manages business operations and customer relations and its company is one of the largest software companies in the world.
Stressing that the synergy between the public and private sectors contributes significantly to reduce the unemployment rates among young people, Al-Kaf said Mobily takes this aspect through the provision of opportunities for job within the company or to support distinctive programs that deal with this matter.
He said education for training program is one of the great opportunities to college students to hone their skills and gain experience.
Education for Employment (E4E) is one of the distinctive programs available through PSU.
It is an initiative launched to arm fresh graduates of all universities with certificates to have better job positions.
The program offers training courses in various applications such as Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Juniper, and SAP as it also includes theoretical and practical training in addition to intensive English language courses and self-development skills.
