Fed X Ally joined Lance & 3rdy as the only teams to score a rare perfect grand slam with a prodigious performance during the 13th session in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 1 at the Ice Land Bowling Center.
In a Friday the 13th week to remember Fed X Ally tallied the maximum total win points of 30 on the way to the Team of the Week award and two of its players, Jimmy Aragones and Fedelyn Bustinera, were the Bowlers of the Week as it matched the perfect grand slam feat Lance & 3rdy first achieved during the sixth week.
Also, the team award was the seventh for Fed X which shut out D’ Cyclone 20-0 on total pinfalls of 2,955-2,387, rank points of 10-1 and total win points of 30-1.
D’ Mountaineers kept pace of the league-leading Fed X as they blanked cellar dweller Nomac 20-0 (2,721-2,454 6-2 26-2).
Mixed Shots became the third highest points getter on 22, beating Pairs and Spaers 14-6 on total pinfalls of 2,778-2,644.
Elsewhere, Jandel’s Pride hammered out a 12-8 victory over Lance & 3rdy on total pinfalls of 2,782-2,762 and D’ Luf’s Strikers whipped Flexibowl 16-4 on total pinfalls of 2,618-2,510, rank points of 20-7 and total win points of 20-7.
Aragones shot the day’s high series of 648 on scratch games of 192, 202 and 182 while Bustinera had 581 in notching her third individual award, as they carried the load for Fed X.
Ally Bin was the other player to do full games for Fed X on 578 that went with the 149-168 by team captain Khalid Bustinera, 176-190 by Ed Cordova and 162 by Robert de Guzman.
Imelda Sayago and Hadi Pacheco stood tall at Mountaineers with rounds of 555 and 516, Rene Punzalan had 477 while Rudy Jamon, Ric Tibayan and Lourdes Punzalan all contributed two games of 206-152, 189-163 and 146-149.
Over at Mixed Shots Carms Lim led the way with 571 with Vangie Lim on 563, Jojo Esperanzate 533 and Jerry “Ka Imo” Carredo 529. Toto Lim added 180-197 and Von Pesigan 141.
For Jandel’s Pride Jimmy Mangindiado fired the second best score of 628 on lines of 191, 203 and 162. Backing up Mangindiado were Archie Alcantara with 556 and skippper Bob Stone with 555. The other scorers were Beng Velasco with 432 and Fred Cuenca with 193.
Team captain Jay Bengco led from the front with 556 for D’ Luf’s which also got a pair of 499s from Caloy Nuguit and Aileen Miralbuna. Daniel Loquias made 173-193 and Ruel Santoc had 144.
