The Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC) will chalk out a program for the post-Eid period during the coming months, the organization announced here Thursday.
“The CSC will hold a series of meetings to draw up a plan to implement programs decided by the organization,” a CSC official said.
He said preparations would include discussing an economic agenda for the CSC, conducting trade delegations and holding programs for officials from private and public sector establishments to discuss issues of economic interests. The group will also implement programs approved by the council.
He said the CSC would participate in a US-Saudi forum for business opportunities, the International Week for green products in Berlin, and the 10th forum for business opportunities in the kingdom to be held in Manchester, England.
He also said the CSC would also send four delegations to different parts of the world to attract foreign investments and promote Saudi products and services.
The Council also plans to hold forums to discuss the economic sector, such as construction, real estate and industrial issues.
The respective national committees have prepared a study, which include many different perceptions and development aspects that are expected to be raised with the work of the committees and their role in their representative sectors.
The Council’s efforts also continues in establishing a real estate and industry commission, activating the implementation of resolutions to give priority to domestic products in the government contracts and providing industrial lands. It will also follow up Saudi labor localization files, labor and workers issues and recruitment, and address employment.
The proposed events include programs in different fields,such as developing the skills of businesswomen, and programs related to bar code program hosted by (GS1 KSA) of the Council.
