The benchmark Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) continued its positive movement and managed a third straight rise Monday, adding 36.39 points or 0.45 percent for the entire day.
It performed within a range of 48 points, closing at 8,070.59. All market cap indices ended the day in the safe area, with Micro cap rising 1.4 percent for the day.
All sectors extended gains except Agriculture & Food Industries, which pared nominal 0.1 percent. Remaining 14 sectors showed a collection of 583 points jointly.
Insurance sector came out as key performing sector among sectoral indices, advancing 1.41 percent to 1,108.17. Tourism sector added considerable 170 points, up 1.16 percent to 14,810.95.
Most of heavyweights finished to the upside, with Saudi Telecom continuing to outperform rest of its peers, advancing 0.95 percent to SR 42.1.
Market breadth was positive, whereby 108 symbols closed in green and 30 closed in red, while 19 remained unchanged.
The National Co. for Glass Industries led the top gainers chart at Tadawul, surging by 8.25 percent and closing at SR31.5. Al Babtain Power & Telecommunication Co. was another significant advancer, surging over five percent.
A good amount of volume roughly 254 million shares was liquidated at Tadawul, a decrease of 22 percent from the previous level but still it was 18 percent greater than 50-day average of 215 million shares.
Equity turnover reached to SR6.6 billion, an increase of 22.6 percent over the 50-day average level.
Dar Alarkan Real Estate continued to dominate the trading activity, liquidating 19.4 million shares and capturing 7.6 percent of the overall market volume.
While, Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company with a liquidity of SR515.3 million topped the value chart. Aljazira also rose 0.8 percent for the session, closing at SR 64.
