Lulu hypermarket, a fast growing chain in Saudi Arabia, is celebrating the 83rd National Day of the Kingdom with various activities and promotions. The 10-day long My Own Saudi campaign starts on Thursday at its major stores in Riyadh and Alkhobar.
“On this auspicious day of Saudi National Day, Lulu demonstrates its honor and sends best wishes to all Saudi Citizens and also expresses its gratitude to the rulers and people of this noble country for their kindness and help in making us the largest hypermarket group in Saudi Arabia,” Lulu stated.
Lulu will host Saudi national flags and suitably decorate its outlets across the Kingdom. As part of this campaign on Sept. 26 and 27, Lulu’s outlets in Riyadh and Alkhobar will conduct a health care campaign in association with Al Dawa Medical, a pharmacy chain in the Kingdom.
During this period a documentary will be screened to reveal the rich Saudi heritage and culture at all of its outlets in the Kingdom. One of the special attractions at Lulu in Alkhobar will be on Sept. 23, the Saudi National Day, when Lulu will present special gifts to physically challenged kids studying at Future Centre for Rehabilitation located in Alkhobar and Dammam.
As part of this venture, Lulu will exhibit major brands of Saudi products in attractive prices. Lulu’s world-class fruit and vegetable section will exhibit varieties of locally grown fruit and vegetables with special display and sale at affordable prices. At this event, Lulu will exhibit and promote Saudi made foodstuffs and other products from major brands.
As part of this campaign, Lulu’s international standard bakery and HACCAP-accredited hot food department will exhibit a range of Saudi ethnic foods at reasonable prices.
A special attraction of these sections will be various kinds of baklavas and basboosas in bakery and a wide range of kabsas and mandies at its hot food department.
