For the second time, Fed X Ally achieved a perfect grand slam in a timely reminder about its title designs during the penultimate week of eliminations in the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 1 at the Ice Land Bowling Center.
In a repeat of its 13th week feat, Fed X Ally hit the maximum possible score of 30 points on the way to the Team of the Week award with Cesar Monares and Fedelyn Bustinera completing the slam by winning the men’s and ladies Bowler of the Week awards.
The perfect slam came after Fed X administered a 20-0 whitewash of bottom team Nomac on total pinfalls of 3,037-2,127, rank points of 10-2 and total win points of 30-2.
D’ Cyclone, in the lower half of the team standings, produced a strong performance in a 20-0 shutout of Mixed Shots and finished the session on 25 points on total pinfalls of 2,751-2,606 and rank points of 5-1.
Tied on 23 points for the day were D’ Luf’s Strikers and Lance & 3rdy, while Jandel’s Pride compiled 18 points.
D’ Luf’s brought down Pairs and Spares 16-14 (2,813-2,698 7-4) while Lance scored a 14-6 victory over Flexibowl on total pinfalls of 2,872-2,824 and rank points of 9-8.
Jandel’s defeated D’ Mountaineers 12-8 on total pinfalls of 2,768-2,677 and rank points of 6-3.
Monares fired the high series of 665 on lines of 192, 116 and 223 while Fedelyn had likewise no peer on the distaff with her 617 as the duo led a hot Fed X charge that also contained 611 from Ed Cordova, 585 from Robert De Guzman, 164-163 from Ally Bin and 160 from Khalid Bustinera.
Thong Mujeed Langa led Cyclone on 532 that went with 597 from Aisah Silabay and a pair of 532s from Tom Langa and Arman Gamboa.
For Luf’s the duo of Jay Bengco and Caloy Nuguit drilled 551 and 542 with Aileen Miralbuna on 522.
Shirley Sagmit was the top scorer at Lance with 587 with Elo Manalo on 579, Eidris Mangoda 511, Ric Reformado 201-213, Med Ramos 178-150 and Evelyn Santoc 146-169.
