Internet users in the Kingdom spend roughly eight hours a day surfing the web, local media said quoting data released by Rise Media Services (RMS).
According to RMS statistics, the Saudi user normally spends an average of five hours on a desktop or laptop computer and another three hours on smart phone devices.
There are 14.6 million Internet users in the Kingdom, of whom around two-thirds use varying social media outlets, the report said.
There are 7.6 million Facebook users and five million Twitter users, up 45 percent from the three million users in 2012, but YouTube outweighs them all, with a whopping 290 viewers daily.
Social media users spend two-and-a-half to three hours a day on social networking sites.
An earlier study showed that 73 percent of Twitter users in the Kingdom access their accounts through their mobile phones.
