Montage Beverly Hills Hotel, a leading luxury hotel in Los Angeles, California, is going to target high-profile visitors from the Gulf region, says its sales director Charls Black.
He was talking to journalists in Dubai after signing a strategic partnership with the UAE-based Al-Basel Consultancy.
“We are targeting high-end clients from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain,” Black told Arab News.
“This partnership will prove to be highly beneficial for the hotel as it will allow us extended reach into potential clients from the Middle East and GCC region,” Black added.
“We have been receiving a large number of top class clients including royal family members, key media and industry figures for several years. Over 15 percent of our visitors are from the GCC region and out of that 30 percent is from Saudi Arabia,” he said.
“We provide Middle Eastern cuisine and the culture atmosphere to match for the people from the region and in Ramadan, we prepare special Iftar dishes. In addition to that, we have Arab-speaking supporting staff,” he added.
He told Arab News that clients from the region, particularly from Saudi Arabia, are top spenders and stay long compared to people from other regions.
Recent statistics show a large demand for high-end luxury accommodations for affluent tourists from the GCC. We are highly optimistic that Al-Basel Consultancy will play a significant role in attracting more customers from this region,” Charles Black added.
According to Al Basel senior executives, the new partnership agreement will give them the opportunity to promote Montage Beverly Hills Hotel across potential high-profile clients in the GCC — leveraging the hotel’s 201 well-appointed guest rooms, including 55 suites that have all been designed to pay tribute to both old Hollywood glamor and modern day luxury.
“We are very excited about our new partnership agreement with the Montage Group, which stands out as one of the first luxury hotels to have been awarded a Gold LEED rating in Southern California,” said Basel Al-Kasem, Founder and CEO, Al-Basel Consultancy.
When asked about the Saudi market, Al-Kasem said: “The Kingdom is our prime market. Because it has high potential.”
