King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals announces academic job vacancies for women

RIYADH: The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has announced new job vacancies for women who are PhD holders.

The announcement was carried by the public university in its official job vacancies notice which looks into recruiting men and women in academic positions.

The available job positions for female applicants are professor, associate professor, and assistant professor in several scientific fields.

The required fields include Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering, Marketing, Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Engineering Management. 

Female applicant must have all of her academic degrees by regularity, and with GPAs not less than 3 out of 4. The applicant must also be fluent in spoken and written English.

Saudi Arabia takes part in forum to review sustainable goals

  • Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan is leading the Saudi delegation
  • Countries will submit annual progress reports during the forum

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is taking part in the High-level Political Forum 2020, UN central platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The online forum taking place from July 7 to 17 has been organized under the theme “Accelerated action and transformative pathways: Realizing the decade of action and delivery of sustainable development.”
Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan is leading the Saudi delegation comprising representatives of several government agencies.
During the forum, the annual progress report on the sustainable development goals will be launched, which will include the efforts of participating countries, their projects, and initiatives to achieve the 2030 sustainable development goals.
Through its participation, Saudi Arabia confirms its global efforts and its awareness of the importance of the international community’s cooperation in achieving common goals.
