Heavy rainfall to continue in Makkah and Hail regions

The General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection has announced an advanced weather alert in the Meakkah region of moderate to heavy thunderstorm accompanied by active winds limiting the horizontal vision. 
The alert included Jeddah, Rabigh, Thul, Shuaiba, Mughirma, Lith and its neighboring cities, starting today and continuing until noon on Friday.

The Hail region, including the city of Hail and its surrounding suburbs and villages, and the provinces of Wall, Shanna, Muqqq experienced heavy rain today which resulted in the creation of valleys. It is still extremely cloudy in the region. 
 




Advanced weather alert in the Meakkah region: moderate to heavy thunderstorm accompanied by active winds limiting the horizontal vision.

Earlier this week, moderate to heavy thunderstorms and rains, accompanied by dust-lifting winds were forecast over several regions in the Kingdom. A total of 2,157 people were rescued since last Wednesday up to Tuesday morning due to the rains that hit these areas by the command of the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
