Smart Health, a firm based in the US, recently awarded top 50 health care companies in recognition of their contribution to health care in 2018. Abeer Medical Group, a health care provider in the Middle East and India, was also recognized.
The award was received by Dr. Jemshith Ahmed, vice president, strategic planning, Abeer Medical Group, on Nov. 13-14 at a function held in Dubai.
Abeer is primarily a health care organization owning and operating high-end medical centers across major cities in Saudi Arabia.
The group has been at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s health care sector for almost the last two decades, presently running 50 health care facilities in the Kingdom and catering to the health care needs of more than four million people every year.
The group is now making its presence in Oman and Kuwait as well.
Alungal Mohammed, president of Abeer Medical Group, said the award will serve as an inspiration to strive further in providing affordable quality health care.
“Entering into its 20th year, Abeer is strategically positioned to leverage the vast experience of operating in the region to newer territories,” said Dr. Ahmed.
