Cristiano Ronaldo's photo with Dubai Crown Prince takes social media by storm 

DUBAI: A photograph of Cristiano Ronaldo spending time with Dubai's crown prince, Sheikh Hamdan kicked off a social media storm on Wednesday.

The pair were seen enjoying each other’s company in a picture posted on both their Instagram accounts on Wednesday. 

Sheikh Hamdan, known as @Faz3 on Instagram, posted the photo with a caption: “A great player and a greater friend @cristiano.” 

Ronaldo, who is currently on a high-profile visit to Dubai where he spent New Year’s Eve, posted a slightly different photo with the crown prince giving a thumbs-up. 

The Juventus football star also shared his own feelings about the photo, saying: “Great time with @Faz3."

Ronaldo was spotted touring around Dubai with his family, partner Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Junior. He is in the UAE for the Globe Soccer Awards at Madinat Jumeirah.

The Portuguese forward has been sharing endless pictures abroad a luxury boat and live-streaming his helicopter ride around the city. 

He also welcomed the New Year watching Dubai's spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks.

Rami Malek to star in new ‘James Bond’ podcast series

DUBAI: Ahead of the worldwide release of the 25th James Bond film this November, “No Time to Die: The Official James Bond Podcast” is launching on Sept. 30. 

Hosted by renowned film critic James King, the new six-part series will feature exclusive interviews with the forthcoming film’s cast, including Egyptian-US actor Rami Malek, who is set to play the antagonist in the action thriller.

There will also be interviews with actors Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Jeffrey Wright, Naomie Harris, Ana de Armas, Rory Kinnear and Billy Magnussen. 

Film director Cary Joji Fukunaga, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli and a host of key behind-the-scenes crew will also feature in the new podcast series.

Each episode will focus on different aspects of the franchise, giving fans the opportunity to learn more about the making of the iconic film series, from the locations chosen and stunts to costumes and music.  

What’s more, the podcast will feature the first listen to Hans Zimmer’s score for the film with brand new recordings from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
