Closet fillers at Sole DXB 2019

Dubai’s premiere street culture festival, Sole DXB, is returning for its eighth edition, and this year it's making a point to champion local talent. Here are some of the homegrown labels to watch out for.


  • Shabab Intl

    A unisex lifestyle label known for its fuss-free basics that include ultra-cozy track suits, sweatshirts and graphic tops and has collaborated with Nike and Carhartt Wip to name a few.

  • Precious Trust

    Spearheaded by Wathek Allal, a Syrian-born, Algerian skateboarder-turned-fashion-designer, Precious Trust flawlessly marries traditional Algerian garments with Western sportswear.

  • 2D2C2M

    An abbreviation for Too Dark to See Tomorrow, the Riyadh-based unisex label founded in 2016 is one of the first streetwear brands to emerge out of Saudi Arabia.

  • 5ive Pillars

    Founded by designer Farrukh Ershad, the idea of 5ive Pillars is to mix Arabic art and literature with contemporary streetwear, resulting in a lineup of graphic T-shirts, jackets, track pants and hoodies.

  • One and Four Studio

    A Dubai-based label, founded by Egyptian designer and pattern-maker Engy Mahdy, that focuses on expertly-tailored and carefully-curated pieces that can be worn by both men and women.

  • AZRA

    The eponymous brand features a range of classically-made, minimalist, luxurious leather handbags, all individually manufactured in the UAE.
