Arab designers at Paris Couture Week

PARIS: Paris Couture Week will take place from Jan. 20-23, promising to place Arab design talent center stage.

    One of the most hotly-anticipated shows of the Haute Couture calendar without a doubt. Expect curve-clinging gowns, embellished jumpsuits and sequins galore come Jan. 22.

  • Bouchra Jarrar

    The Tunisian fashion designer and former creative director of Lanvin has been absent from the couture calendar since 2016, but will return to Paris to showcase her latest offerings on Jan. 22.

  • Georges Chakra

    Expect a lineup of show-stopping designs that will likely be spotted on many red carpets to come.

  • Elie Saab

    The Lebanese designer has a loyal list of clients who will no doubt be sitting front row when he presents his newest collection on Jan. 22.

  • Rami Al-Ali

    Returning to Couture Week for the Spring 2020 season is Syrian designer Rami Al-Ali who will be presenting his new collection at the Salon Pompadour of Hotel Le Meurice on Jan. 20.

  • Georges Hobeika

    The Lebanese couturier, whose creations are beloved by the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Ciara, will be presenting his Spring 2020 offerings on Jan. 20 at Paris’s Theatre National de Chaillot.
