LuLu kicks off Mango World Festival in a virtual launch event

RIYADH: In the midst of summer season in Saudi Arabia, leading retailer LuLu launched its mango-themed festival “Mango World” in a real-time inauguration by H.E. Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Eng. Ibrahim Albidah, Deputy General Manager of Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture in Riyadh region, Mr. Shehim Mohammed, Director of LuLu Saudi Hypermarkets, and LuLu dignitaries.

H.E Dr. Ausaf Sayeed shared: “In this pandemic situation, the best way to hold an event is through a virtual launch. We highly appreciate LuLu in pioneering this kind of initiative. The residents of the Kingdom will definitely enjoy the wide variety of mangoes on display across the stores.”

Mr. Shehim Mohammed said: “We have ensured an uninterrupted food supply and we are thankful to the vital contribution and support of our partner suppliers in these challenging times.”

LuLu highlights more than 50 varieties of delicious mangoes sourced from 10 tropical countries, along with mango-based desserts, deli treats, and basket offerings, across LuLu stores in the country till 23rd June 2020.
