DUBAI: US actor Stanley Tucci’s Golden Globes nomination has been moved to the best actor in a motion picture (drama) category for his role in the 2020 British film “Supernova,” alongside his co-star Colin Firth, Variety reported on Sunday.

Tucci was initially nominated for best supporting actor in a motion picture.

Director Harry Macqueen’s movie tells the story of a musician and a novelist who travel across England on a road trip and, as the story unfolds, dementia starts to take hold of one of them.

Variety also revealed that the four stars of “One Night in Miami” will all compete in the supporting actor category at the event.

The 78th Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 28 “in person.”
